Our new Apogee Sport is based on Dr.’s Mark Drela original all wood design of the Apogee. This a full Discus Hand Launch (DLG) redesigns to be a more economical alternative to the all composite Apogee line. The Apogee Sport provides with a high performance experience in a small package and price, with an All Up Weight of 4.0 oz, a thin and light airfoil, yet strong construction, this DLG can outperform many other gliders in its class. The kit is reinforced with carbon, and includes an all carbon throwing blade for maximum throwing experience. The AG airfoil offers excellent aerodynamics, while the out come is a stable yet a fun plane
